Growing up in Hawai’i taught me to have a deep connection and respect for the island. From snow-capped Mauna Kea to Kīlauea with its lava reaching down to the ocean, this unique island connects us to the elements from which the islands were formed and from which all life springs. It’s this connection to the island that inspired me to create these scents.
Each fragrance embodies these qualities to immerse yourself in: Mana / Power, Pōhaku / Stone, Kupu / Grow, Wena / Glow, Kai / Sea, and Hā / Breath. I wanted to share that experience through fragrance.
Just as none of the elements are singular in nature, we invite you to layer in creating your own sense of expression. Whether it's combining fire and water with Wena and Kai, or centering on Hā and Mana, there are elements to explore in creating your personal fragrance.

How can I make the fragrance last longer?
We recommend beginning with a moisturizing base such as our body lotions and oils. This will help the fragrance absorb into the skin much more quickly.

At first I thought this scent was too much. Tried it one more time, just a small spritz, and loved it. I spray it on my tummy and the scent stays without overpowering.

These fragrances are potent! While I usually recommend spraying the air and walking through the mist, with “Kai” you can get away with choosing a spot on your body, spraying one shot and sharing that to other spots. Example, spray one wrist, transfer to the other wrist by rubbing together then rub that onto your neck for all day wear.
Of the new line of eau de parfum, this is my second favorite. What I love about Kai is the complex simplicity of it. How does one cook up a fragrance profile of “salt, sand and earth”? Must be sorcery I tell you.
This pleasant scent evokes a go with the flow mindset. It’s actually calming, grounding like a day at the beach that washes worries away. Magic!
