Isolated in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, the Hawaiian islands beckon. This is the home and inspiration for Ua Hawai'i.
Here, we create intentional bodycare that tells stories of Hawai'i’s sacred land through fragrance. Formulated in small batches with native ingredients, each scent delivers an intimate account of the islands’ wild, majestic, and mysterious nature.

Ua Hawai’i is a tribute to my mother, Alice, and her love of Hawai’i, its natural elements, and its people.
Nearly 30 years ago, she unknowingly founded this company, crafting natural skincare with the native botanicals and rare blossoms she foraged around our home. What began as an act of care for herself, her friends, family, and beloved community became a legacy she passed on to me, her daughter.
After her passing, my husband and I felt called to continue what she began: to preserve her spirit by using her recipes and native ingredients to craft high-quality skincare products.
Ua Hawai’i is an embodiment of her, rooted in the land she loved.
Preserving Our Home, Hawai’i
Through my mother’s love for Hawai’i’s sacred lands, culture, and traditions, Ua Hawai’i was born. Meaning rain in Hawaiian, Ua reminds us that nature is a powerful healer and that we, in turn, must nurture and protect the earth.
This is why our skincare is crafted with locally sourced, sustainably harvested ingredients from Hawai’i. We care deeply about protecting Hawai’i’s ecosystem and donate 1.5% of each sale to the Hawai’i Conservation Alliance, whose mission is to preserve the culture, land, and oceans we call home.

We believe honoring natural beauty begins by respecting the very thing that has given us and everything else life.
In addition to using native, plant-based ingredients, we use both glass and paper for our packaging. We also offer a refill program to help reduce plastic consumption.
To us, sustainability is more than just a commitment; it’s a responsibility.
